FAIRFIELD — Central Maine CATV will host its Second annual Telethon from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Fairfield Community Center. The event will feature central Maine talent, a silent auction and a chicken barbecue to help raise money to support the station in its endeavors to improve the quality of programming and services from the station.
Donations up to $2,500 will be matched by Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial.
The nonprofit local television station serves Fairfield, Waterville, Winslow, Albion, Benton, Clinton, Oakland, China and Vassalboro. Local programs include Kennebec Valley Forum, Notre Dame Church weekly Mass, From Rita’s Kitchen With Love, Council and other meetings from Fairfield, Waterville and Winslow, home football games for Lawrence, Messalonskee, Waterville and Winslow high schools and more.
