WATERVILLE — Andrew Roderigue had five points, including an assist on the game-winner, to spark the Waterville hockey team past Old Town/Orono 8-7 in a battle of the top two teams in Class B North boys hockey Wednesday at Colby College.
Roderigue finished with two goals and three assists, one of which came on Matt Jolicoeur’s game-winning power play goal 14:19 into the third period. Justin Wentworth added three goals and an assist for Waterville (17-1-0) while Jackson Aldrich and Zach Menoudarakos had one goal apiece. Nathan Pinnette made 26 saves.
Jacob Dube had two goals and an assist for Old Town/Orono (14-2-2) while Jacob Gallon also scored twice. Khole Parker and Brendan Gassaway combined to make 39 saves.
