PITTSFIELD — Maile Halferty scored with 1:30 left in double overtime as the Maine Central Institute girls soccer team edged Mount View 2-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Friday afternoon. Madison Boutwell had the assist.
Maddie Hallee also scored for MCI (4-6-1) while Leah Bussell had nine saves.
Cate Arthurs scored for Mount View (3-7-2). Shala Davis had five saves as well.
RANGELEY 3, VALLEY 1: Natasha Haley scored two goals and Lauren Eastlack added another as the Lakers won in Bingham. Haven Mayhew scored for Valley while Samantha West had 13 saves.

SKOWHEGAN 2, MT. BLUE 1: Sam Bolvin scored with 17 minutes left in the game to give the host Indians the KVAC A win.
Spenser Steeves opened the scoring with a first-half goal for Skowhegan (2-9-0). Gavin Patton made nine saves.
Sam Smith’s goal tied the game with 25 minutes remaining. Tucker Carleton made one save for the Cougars (1-7-3).
RANGELEY 3, VALLEY 0: Zac Trafton scored two goals and Ricky Thompson added another as the Lakers prevailed in an East/West Conference game in Bingham. Hunter Lowell had 12 saves for the Lakers (4-5-2). Dillon Beane had 13 for the Cavaliers (2-7-2).
LEWISTON 4, MESSALONSKEE 1: Maulid Abdow, Muktar Ali, Bilal Hersi and Benjamin Musese each scored a goal as the Blue Devils earned the KVAC A win in Lewiston.
Alex Rivet made four saves for Lewiston (10-1-0).
James Kouletsis scored for Messalonskee (6-4-1). Chase Warren stopped five shots.
