NEW HAMPTON, N.H. — Police in New Hampshire say a father and daughter were hospitalized after a motorcycle they were riding on crashed into a bear.
New Hampton police tell WMUR-TV the man was driving with his daughter westbound on state Route 104 Sunday afternoon when they crashed into the animal.
The bear left the scene.
The man was airlifted to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with head injuries. His condition wasn’t immediately known.
His daughter was hospitalized for minor injuries. They weren’t immediately identified.
Police say the two were wearing helmets.
