WATERVILLE — The Valley boys basketball team outscored Seacoast Christian 26-8 in the third quarter to pull away for a 64-48 East/West Conference victory Monday night at Thomas College.
Cody Laweryson led Valley (9-0) with 29 points and 10 rebounds while Collin Miller finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Tim Yeaton scored 27 points to pace Seacoast (3-3).
GIRLS BASKETBALL
VALLEY 43, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 13: Senior captain Dalayne Davis knocked down a pair of 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 11 points in the Cavaliers’ victory over the Guardians in South Berwick.
Haven Mayhew added eight points for Valley (4-5), which opened the game up by outscoring Seacoast (0-7) 19-2 in the third quarter.
BOOTHBAY 53, OAK HILL 28: Sophomore forward Page Brown scored 22 points and senior guard Hannah Morley added 12 to lead host Boothbay to the Mountain Valley Conference victory. Freshman Faith Blethen also scored 12 points for the Seahawks (10-0).
Grace Sabine scored a team-high 10 points while Sara Noel added eight to pace the Raiders (5-5).

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
COLBY 61, HUSSON 53: Colby sophomore Haley Driscoll finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds —both game-highs — to lead the Mules to a nonconference victory at Wadsworth Gymnasium.
Driscoll had 18 points in the second half for the Mules (7-3). Former Cony standout Mia Diplock added 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists for Colby.
Victoria McIntyre led the Eagles (5-3) with 16 points, while Rebecca Young added 13 points and six rebounds. Chandler Guerette scored 12 points to go along with a game-high five steals.
