OAKLAND — Nathan Violette scored a game-high 33 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Messalonskee boys basketball team to an easy 83-47 win over Camden Hills on Friday night.

Violette added five steals and four assists for Messalonskee (3-2). James Lathrop added 28 points and five rebounds.

Camden Hills (1-4) was led by Gage Corson with 18 points.

ERSKINE 38, MCI 36: Matt Clary made two free throws with 19 seconds left and MCI missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer as the Eagles earned their first win of the season in South China.

“It was a very exciting game,” Erskine coach Tim Bonsant said.

Noah Bonsant scored seven points to go along with 12 rebounds and five blocked shots to help power the Eagles (1-4). Trevor Hubbard scored a team-high 10 points and Josh Reed added nine.

Treston Grier scored nine points to pace the Huskies (2-2).

BOOTHBAY 59, HALL-DALE 41: Austin Campbell had 20 points and 10 rebounds to spark the Seahawks to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Farmingdale.

Jacob Leonard added 16 points for Boothbay (4-2).

Quin Stebbins led Hall-Dale (3-3) with 10 points and Alec Byron added eight.

WHEELER (RI) 62, KENTS HILL 51: Luke Arsenault scored 20 points but it was not enough as the Huskies (1-4) fell in Rhode Island. Trevor Guity added 13 points while Darius Hinds had 12.

GARDINER 63, BREWER 51: Lauren Chadwick had 16 points, 11 rebounds and three steals to lift the Tigers to the win in Brewer.

Leslie Stevens added 13 points for Gardiner (3-1) while Mary Toman chipped in 11 points and eight rebounds.

Brewer (2-3) was led by Emily Lord with 12 points.

OAK HILL 67, TELSTAR 25: Grace Sabine had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Raiders to the win in Wales.

Sara Noel added 10 points for Oak Hill (4-2) while Madison Bennett chipped in nine rebounds and six points.

Telstar (0-6) was led by Becca Howard with 13 points.

BOOTHBAY 53, HALL-DALE 34: Page Brown scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Seahawks to the MVC win in Farmingdale.

Alexis Welch added 17 points for Boothbay (6-0).

Kayla Johnson scored 10 points for Hall-Dale (2-4).
