WINSLOW — Spencer Miranda scored 17 points — including five 3-pointers — to lead the Winslow boys basketball team to a 52-37 victory over Erskine in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Tuesday night in Winslow.

Miranda also had six rebounds and four assists. Trenton Bouchard added seven points for Winslow (4-0) while Justin Burgher hauled in 12 rebounds.

Erskine (0-4) was led by Trevor Hubbard with 13 points. Trevor Browne and Noah Bonsant each added eight points.

BREWER 56, MESSALONSKEE 51: The Witches outscored the Eagles 20-10 in the fourth quarter en route to the KVAC victory in Brewer.

Carter Smith and Matt Pushard led the way for Brewer (4-0) with 25 and 21 points, respectively.

James Lathrop had 15 points for Messalonskee (2-2). Taylor Turner added 12 and Nathan Violette chipped in with 11.

TEMPLE 56, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 41: Brad Smith scored 17 points to lead Temple in Waterville.

Kevin Avila added 13 points for Temple (1-3) while Micah Riportella chipped in 11.

Highview Christian (2-2) was led by T.J. Sheldon with 18 points.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MESSALONSKEE 62, BREWER 44: Sophie Holmes led all scorers with 18 points and finished with 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

McKenna Brodeur added 16 points for Messalonskee (3-1) while Ally Turner had 11 points and four assists. Dakota Bragg added seven rebounds.

Brewer (2-2) was led by Emily Lord with 13 points.

LAWRENCE 55, MT. BLUE 40: Nia Irving scored 15 points and grabbed whopping 24 rebounds to pace the Bulldogs to the KVAC A victory in Fairfield. Domi Lewis scored a game-high 18 points to pace Lawrence (4-0) as well.

Morgan Boudreau had five points and as many assists for Lawrence.

Eryn Doiron scored 11 points to lead Mt. Blue (1-3).

SKOWHEGAN 49, MCI 24: Annie Cook scored 14 points and Alyssa Everett added 12 to pace the Indians to the KVAC victory in Skowhegan.

Lindsey Warren contributed eight points for Skowhegan (2-2) as well.

Jody Bickford scored a game-high 15 points to lead MCI (1-3).

CAMDEN HILLS 49, MOUNT VIEW 48 (OT): Jenni Nadeau scored a game-high 26 points but it wasn’t enough for the Mustangs in Thorndike.

Mara Dostie scored 15 points to lead the Windjammers (1-3) while Charlotte Messer added 11.

Andrea Crosby added 15 points for Mount View (1-2).

TEMPLE 49, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 34: Kiara Carr scored a game-high 29 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Temple in Waterville.

Veronica Rossignol added nine points for Temple (2-3).

Highview Christian (4-2) was led by Cassidy Lessner with 11 points.

WINSLOW 51, ERSKINE 25: Heather Kervin scored a game-high 18 points and Ciara LeClair added 14 as the Black Raiders prevailed in South China.

Maddy Roy chipped in with eight points for Winslow (4-0).

Michelle Lemelin led Erskine (1-3) with six points.

NOKOMIS 48, WATERVILLE 19: Sidney Moore scored 21 points — including four 3-pointers — to lead the Warriors in Waterville.

Olivia Brown added 10 points for Nokomis (3-1).

Jordan Jabar scored seven points for Waterville (1-3) while Fotini Shanos chipped in six.

RANGELEY 62, GPC 22: Blayke Morin scored 20 points and hauled in 10 rebounds to pace the Lakers at the XL Sports World in Saco.

Sydney Royce added 12 points and five steals for Rangeley (4-1) while Natasha Haley had eight points. Brooke Egan helped out with six steals and three assists.

Clarissa Jones scored 10 points to lead Greater Portland Christian (2-2).

BOYS HOCKEY

WATERVILLE 7, CAMDEN HILLS 3: Jackson Aldrich had two goals and two assists to spark the Purple Panthers to the win in Waterville.

Cody Pellerin added two goals for Waterville (3-0-0) while Justin Wentworth, Michael Bolduc and Andrew Rodrigue each had a goal and an assist. Michael Oliveira and Matt Jolicoeur added two assists each. Nathan Pinnette made 20 saves.

Jonah Cameron, Dan Lydon and James Orne scored for Camden Hills (2-1-0). Jet Magri stopped 25 shots while Zach Hand made 10 saves.
