FAIRFIELD — Derek Bowen had three hits, including a double, as Post 51 picked up an 8-2 American Legion win over Waldo Friday in Fairfield.

Ben Frazee chipped in with a pair of singles for Post 51 (12-4), while Danny Pooler went all seven innings to pick up the pitching win.

Alex Flagg, Zach Collier and David Clark each doubled in the loss for Waldo (2-14).

RTD 39ERS 7, RH FOSTER 1: Chase Malloy and Chase Nelson each had a pair of singles to pace the RTD 39ers to a win over RH Foster in Hampden.

Derek LeBlanc chipped in with a double for the RTD 39ers (8-8) while Cody Laweryson gave up just two hits over seven innings en route to the pitching win.

RH Foster fell to 10-6 with the loss.
