Maine Connections Academy, a full-time, tuition-free virtual public charter school for grades 7-12, is enrolling students for the 2015-16 school year. Interested families are encouraged to learn more about how virtual school works and if it’s the right fit for their students by attending an in-person information session held statewide by Maine Connections Academy over the coming weeks, according to a MCA news release.
The following information sessions are set:
• Augusta, 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive.
• Portland Pirates Game, 3-5- p.m., Sunday, April 12, Cross Insurance Arena, One Civic Center Square.
• Presque Isle, 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, Hampton Inn, 768 Main St.
• Bangor, 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, Hilton Garden Inn, 250 Haskell Road.
Families can meet with an MCA faculty member or representative, explore the program and curriculum, and ask questions about the enrollment process. Real-time interactive online information sessions and an on-demand session accessible 24/7 are also available for families statewide.
