Dianne Raymond joins HealthReach to provide psychiatric medication management
Dianne Raymond, PhD, PMHNP-BC, will join HealthReach Community Health Centers in March to provide psychiatric medication management, including psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing and medication monitoring.
She will work closely with patients and their primary care providers at several HealthReach practices to determine the best plan of care to achieve optimum wellness, according to a press release from HealthReach.
Raymond earned a PhD in community mental health nursing in 1996 from the University of Alabmam, Birmingham and an MSN in psychiatric mental health nursing in 1987 at the University of Texas, El Paso. She also has a bachelor’s in behavioral science with a major in psychology at University of Maine, Presque Isle. She brings psychiatric nurse practitioner experience in a variety of outpatient, inpatient and private practice settings. Her areas of expertise include adult psychiatric medication management.
HealthReach Community Health Centers is a group of 11 federally qualified health centers in central and western Maine.
Robert Chagrasulis joins Franklin Health Surgery
Surgeon Robert Chagrasulis will joins the staff of Franklin Health Surgery in Farmington Monday. Other providers in the practice include Eric Gunther and Thomas Marshall, according to a press release from Franklin Memorial Hospital President/CEO Rebecca Arsenault.
Before joining Franklin Health Surgery, Chagrasulis provided general surgery at Calais Regional Hospital in Calais for the past eight years. He has professional interests in trauma, surgical critical care and sports medicine.
Chagrasulis, a Maine native, completed a fellowship in trauma and surgical intensive care, and a senior general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Before that, he completed his residency in general surgery at Maine Medical Center, according to the release. Chagrasulis received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.
Franklin Health Surgery is on the second floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center on the Franklin Memorial Hospital campus.
Aliesha Leighton promoted at Trademark Federal Credit Union
Aliesha Leighton has been promoted to assistant manager for the member services department of Trademark Federal Credit Union in Augusta, according to a press release from the credit union.
Leighton joined the credit union in September 2012 and has held positions in both the lending and the member services departments, according to the release.
The credit union is at 44 Edison Drive and was founded in 2010, when credit unions serving employees of Central Maine Power Co. and Hannaford Brothers Co. joined forces, according to its website. The credit union now services the employees and families of 25 companaies.
Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program nomination deadline is March 13
Nominations for 2,500 scholarhsips for young volunteers worth nearly $400,000 must be made to the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program by March 13. Kids ages 6 to 18 who have made a positive impact on their communities can be awarded scholarships and prizes, ranging from $50 Kohl’s gift cards to $10,000 scholarships.
