BETHEL — The Maranacook Community High School football team racked up 518 yards of total offense as the Black Bears cruised to a 32-0 victory at Telstar Saturday afternoon.

“The kids are starting to get the double wing and we put in some other plays,” Maranacook coach Joe Emery said. “They’re getting excited about it so it’s working really well.”

Drew Davis’ short touchdown run gave Maranacook (3-3 Campbell Conference) a 7-0 lead after the first quarter, and in the second the Black Bears broke it open as quarterback Isaiah Weston connected with Levi Emery on touchdown passes of 40 and 36 yards, respectively, to break it open.

Emery finished the game with four catches for 110 yards, while Weston completed 9-of-18 passes for 178 yards.
