FARMINGTON — Conner Perry scored on a penalty kick in double overtime to lift the Cony boys soccer team past Mt. Blue 2-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Wednesday afternoon.
Nate Parlin also scored for the Rams (1-9-1), who recorded their first victory of the season.
Evan Bakus scored for Mt. Blue (4-6-1).
FIELD HOCKEY
BOOTHBAY 2, HALL-DALE 1: Sydney Meader scored for Boothbay on a penalty stroke with 15 minutes left in second half to lift host Boothbay to the Mountain Valley Conference victory.
Nicole LaBrecque scored an unassisted goal and Erika Eamus finished with 21 saves for Boothbay.
Nicole Pelletier scored the lone Hall-Dale goal while Kate Sullivan had the assist. Molly French had 24 saves.
GIRLS SOCCER
MT. BLUE 1, CONY 0: Addie Brinkman scored off a corner to give the Cougars the KVAC A win in Augusta.
Addie Schanz made five saves for Mt. Bluee.
Autumn Sudsbury stopped 10 shots for Cony (0-10-1).
WOMEN’S FIELD HOCKEY
ST. JOSEPH’S 2, THOMAS 0: Theresa Hendrix and Kelsey Dumond scored in the first half to lift the Monks (9-1-0, 3-0-0 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference) in Waterville.
Abbie Charrier had five saves to pace Thomas (4-9-0, 1-1-0).
