Jeffrey Pierce, a Republican of Dresden, is a candidate for House District 53 which includes the towns of Georgetown, Arrowsic, Woolwich, Phippsburg, Dresden and 79 homes in Richmond.

Jeff and Ann Pierce have been married for 25 years and together have raised two sons, Ben and Zach. Jeff is a building contractor and is active in his community, currently serving as chairman of the Dresden Planning Board.

He founded the Alewife Harvesters of Maine in 2007 and is the executive director of Maine Elver Fisherman’s Association. He also works to restore and maintain the local fisheries, which is a way of life for many in Maine.

I encourage others to join me in voting for Jeff, who has the experience managing money in a responsible manner to balance a budget.
