ROCKLAND — Police say a fight at a Rockland hotel over the weekend has led to the arrests of two Maine residents and two people from Massachusetts.

Officers responded to a call to the Trade Winds Motor Inn on Saturday where they found two men fighting in the lobby, allegedly over a drug transaction.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said a search of two rooms turned up 25 grams of crack cocaine, 200 oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia and $4,700 cash.

WABI-TV reported that police arrested 21-year-old Cameron Soto of Fairhaven, Mass., and 21-year-old Felicia Timoteo of New Bedford, Mass.

Also arrested were 25-year-old Christopher Sawyer of Vinalhaven and 23-year-old Veronica Ames of Rockland.

Police said Soto had been under investigation for several months.
