FREEPORT — Rescue workers transported one person to the hospital following a crash on I-295 Friday morning.

The crash happened at mile marker 25 northbound at 9:19 a.m., authorities said. Traffic was slowed for a period of time but had resumed normal flow by 10:15 a.m.
