WAYNE — Cary Memorial Library will hold its fourth annual Summer Festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on the lawn of the library’s Williams House property, Old Winthrop Road.

Activities include:

* A 5K run/walk and children’s scramble at 9 a.m. at the Wayne Elementary School.

* Baked goods and books for sale, 10 a.m.

* Book signings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event features Dawna Gardner, illustrator of “Island Friends”; “Back from Tobruk,” the World War II memoirs of Croswell Bowen, edited by his daughter Betsy Bowen; and Priscilla Stevenson, author of “Safe in a Box in the Attic.”

* Loon stories for all ages, read by librarian Janet Adelberg, at 11 a.m.

* A loon calling contest with prizes at 11:30 a.m.

* A lobster roll luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. There will also be chicken salad, chips, pickles and blueberry cake. The cost is $15 for lobster rolls or $8 for chicken salad.
