WATERVILLE — Nickolas Huggins recently graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. He was also awarded the Sid Bridges Firearms Proficiency Award.

He is a 2007 Waterville Senior High School graduate, a 2009 Southern Maine Community College graduate, and a 2011 Husson University graduate.

Huggins is employed as a police officer for the city of Bangor.

He is the son of Ellen and Buster Huggins of Waterville.
