Incorrect information appeared in a Nov. 27 editorial about a new law that caps treatment for drug addicts.

A new two-year cap on methadone or buprenorphine treatments for drug addicts begins on Jan. 1. Treatment could continue beyond the 24-month limit if certain criteria are met.
