President Barack Obama is booking another trip to New Hampshire in an effort to garner the swing state’s four electoral votes.
Obama’s campaign confirmed Monday that the president will visit Nashua, N.H., on Saturday. The visit marks the president’s second campaign stop in two weeks in the Granite State. Obama visited Manchester last week before embarking on a whirlwind tour of other swing states.
The visit will be the president’s sixth this year and underscores how important New Hampshire’s four electoral college votes could be in determining whether Obama is elected to a second term.
Recent polls show Obama is tied with Republican challenger Mitt Romney in New Hampshire.
Nationally, the race is also described as a dead heat and some political analysts are beginning to float scenarios in which the presidential election could result in a tie in the Electoral College.
Details about the event were not immediately made available to the media.
