People eat together Sunday during a picnic at Capitol Park in Augusta to commemorate the Occupy Augusta movement which began camping in the park on Oct. 15, 2011. The Occupy protesters picketed and lived in the park to raise awareness about the political and financial system until a federal judge ordered them to leave in December. Two dozen people assembled for a meal in the park, where Occupy member Lew Kingsbury, of Pittston, said the movement continues to be active in affairs across Maine.
