LYMAN — Police say a broken-down vehicle with no license plates helped them arrest a woman Tuesday morning on a charge of driving to endanger.
Maj. William King Jr. of the York County Sheriff’s Office said the vehicle’s discovery on South Waterboro Road in Lyman led to the arrest of Jennifer Noon of Waterboro, 32, who was charged on an outstanding
warrant with driving to endanger.

Deputy Gil Hudson found the vehicle around 8 a.m. A note had been attached to it, saying it had broken down and its owner would return the next day.
Hudson determined that the vehicle posed a hazard and proceeded to contact its owner, using the phone number on the note. Noon gave Hudson a false name but called back a short while later with her correct name.
She was arrested on an outstanding warrant and held in the York County Jail on $775 bail.
