FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington will explore the world of music, sound, noise and silence with a two-month long sound conference, “Sonitus: A Sound Studies University Forum,” featuring a wide-range of presentations by scholars, artists and performers as they investigate sound’s unbounded nature.

All events are free and open to the public and take place on the UMF campus.
