BOSTON — After considering retirement, future Hall-of-Famer Kevin Garnett has chosen to return to the Boston Celtics.
Garnett will receive a 3-year deal worth $34 million, much less than $21 million he made in the 2011-2012 season, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The Celtics came within one win of the NBA Finals this season, despite losing four players to season-ending injuries.
With Garnett now returning and Avery Bradley and Jeff Green coming back from injury – if they can re-sign Green – the Celtics believe they have enough to contend in the Eastern Conference.
On Thursday, the team drafted two-high profile big men, Jared Sullinger of Ohio State and 7-foot Fab Melo of Syracuse University.
