FARMINGTON — Farmington Public Library recently announced its Fly, Fly Away Summer Reading Program will take place June 17-Aug. 4.
The program is open to children of all ages, readers and listeners. There will be prizes as incentives to keep reading donated from Gifford’s Ice Cream, Pizza Hut, Devaney, Doak & Garrett Booksellers, Narrow Gauge Cinemas and the Portland Seadogs. A valid library card is needed to borrow materials, but participants can still sign up and read books at the library.
Borrowing privileges are free to Farmington residents. Industry residents are reimbursed for non-resident fees at the Town Office. All others pay $25 per household annually.
Preschool story hours begin at 10:15 a.m. Fridays and Baby Rhymes begin at 10:15 a.m. Wednesdays.
