A 17-year-old was charged with displaying a fictitious inspection sticker during a traffic stop on Route 17. The teen driver also was warned for violating his intermediate driver’s license.

Friday
Police were called to Windsor Road after a passerby saw a man standing at the end of his driveway with a rifle. The man told police he was shooting a rabid fox that was eating one of his chickens. The animal control officer was called to investigate.

Ryan Burns, 33, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence, failure to stop for a police officer and speeding after police attempted to stop his motorcycle on East Pittston Road. The pursuit continued to Hunts Meadow Road.
