AUGUSTA – Carylanne Wolfington scored a team-high 16 points and Allison Crockett had a double-double to help the top-seeded Hall-Dale High School girls basketball team beat No. 7 Waynflete 43-36 in the Western C championship game Saturday night

The Bulldogs (18-3) advanced to the Class C state title game for the second consecutive season.

“Back to back Western Maine’s is a pretty incredible accomplishment,” Hall-Dale coach coach Brandon Terrill said.

Crockett finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Martha Veroneau scored 16 points to lead No. 7 Waynflete (13-8).
