In May 2011, actress Rose McGowan sold her Los Feliz house at a financial and apparent emotional loss.

McGowan decided to list the home in February 2011 after concluding the romantic Spanish-style villa was the cause of her constant allergies, even after thousands of dollars of work on the air ducts. Music manager Scott Rodger, who has represented Paul McCartney, Arcade Fire and others, purchased the home for $1,775,000, according to property records.

Unfortunately, McGowan figured out that her down pillows were the cause of her allergy distress, not her home, so she approached Rodger in attempts to get him to sell back the property. McGowan told talk show host Chelsea Handler that Rodger wanted a lot more money to give up the home, so she decided to live in a different home — one she “hated.”

It looks like the housing drama is finally over for the Charmed star. McGowan picked up a piece of Hollywood Hills real estate at the end of November for $1.39 million, and while it’s not quite the same as her Los Feliz property, it’s certainly not shabby.

McGowan’s new home in Hollywood Hills is a mid-century modern style house with 2,927 square feet of living space, 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The home features several outdoor living spaces with patios, fireplaces and heaters.
