Elizabeth Knight releases a Chinese lantern Sunday evening with her mother, Hope Edwards, during a fundraiser in memory of Amanda Edwards at Erskine Academy in China. More than 100 lanterns were sold to classmates and friends and then launched on the school’s lawn to raise money for project graduation while commemorating the 17-year-old who died in a crash three years ago. Knight is Amanda Edwards’ stepsister and Hope is her stepmother.
