WATERVILLE — Waterville Public Library recently announced free access to ancestry.com. The website offers an extensive database. Researchers can find census, records, military documents and more to assist those interested in learning more about their ancestors.

In addition, the Maine State Library has prepared tutorials to help individuals learn to navigate the site at maine.gov/msl/services/ancestry.shtml.

Waterville Public Library staff will be on hand to help.
