CLINTON — For the ninth year, children and adults from all over Kennebec and Somerset counties have again lined up to have the wits scared out of them.
The 15-minute haunted Halloween trail at Tammie and Larry Bailey’s home takes the unsuspecting past ghoulish horrors that leap out of the dark or crawl on the floor.
Tammie Bailey said that 500 visitors came to the trail last weekend and many more are expected this Saturday, the last day the trail is open this year.
“We do it for the fun and it has just kept growing,” she said.
This year a half dozen people helped create the trail and two dozen either dressed up in costumes or worked as trail guides.
The haunted trail at 449 Canaan Road, Clinton, will be open 7:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday and is free.
