Inclement weather Friday could alter the high school football slate.
It already has for Messalonskee and Mt. Ararat, who postponed their game from Friday to Saturday night at 7 in Topsham.
The forecast is calling for rain Friday.
Here is a look at where some of the action stands Thursday night:

PTC A

Cony at Lawrence: Cony coach Robby Vachon said he expects to play Friday night.
“Our field doesn’t do well anyway holding water,” he said. “It’s not going to matter if it’s Friday or Saturday.”
Vachon and Cony athletic director Paul Vachon will meet at 11 a.m. Friday to determine if a postponement is necessary.

Skowhegan at Edward Little: Skowhegan coach Mike Marston said he anticipates playing Friday night.
“We actually like playing in the rain,” he said. “Hopefully we’ll play.”

PTC B

Madison at Gardiner: Gardiner coach Matt Burgess said he anticipates playing, although a final decision will be made Friday morning.
“We are preparing like we are playing,” he said.

Waterville at Brewer: Waterville coach Frank Knight said he anticipates playing.

Morse at Mt. Blue: The game is still scheduled for Friday night, but a decision will likely be determined Friday morning. It would be moved to Saturday at 1 p.m. if it’s postponed.

Campbell Conference Class C

Poland at Winthrop: Winthrop coach Joel Stoneton said the game will “likely” be moved 3 p.m. Saturday.
“The (athletic directors) have agreed so we are planning to practice Friday,” Stoneton said.
He added a final decision will also come Friday morning.

Maranacook at Dirigo: Maranacook coach Joe Emery said he also expects to play Friday.
“But who knows,” he said. “We’ll know by 1 p.m. Friday.”

Little Ten Conference

MCI at Hermon: MCI coach Tom Bertrand said he anticipates playing Friday night.
