UNITY — Music for Hope — Earth Day Music Festival will take place from 3 to 10 p.m. April 16 at the Unity College Center for the Performing Arts.
Suggested donation is $15 per person. Proceeds will benefit New Hope for Women, a nonprofit, Maine-based organization that seeks to help women, men, their children, friends, family and all people affected by domestic and dating violence.
Performers will include Will Work for Food, a Unity College student folk group; The North Star Sisters, with contradance caller John MacIntire; Ramblin’ Red, a Portland-based folk/bluegrass quartet; Velourosaurs, a rock, blues, funk & R&B band; and Planet Pan steel drum band.
