Who in Maine even knew these wonderful displays of labor history were being displayed anywhere, let alone in the state Department of Labor building?

The citizens of Maine should be glad Gov. Paul LePage had the murals and artwork removed.

If they are so meaningful to so many, then they should be displayed in the state museum, not in the Department of Labor. The public, rarely if ever, would even be in the area where they were located.

At least in a public place, students and other visitors to the museum can see them.

Perhaps they should have been put there in the first place?
